2010 Masters Field: The 76th Masters Tournament is scheduled to get underway Thursday, April 8th at 7:50am ET at Augusta National Golf Course in Georgia. The first major of the season features a 96 player field that includes former Masters champions Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Angel Cabrera, Fred Couples, Vijay Singh, Mike Weir, Ben Crenshaw, Zach Johnson, Mark O'Meara, Larry Mize, Sandy Lyle, Raymond Floyd, Trevor Immelman, Bernhard Langer, Craig Stadler, Ian Woosnam, and Tom Watson. Woods, however, is the favorite to win the event in Sportsbook.com's 2010 Masters Field.
Of course Tiger Woods, despite his layoff, and Phil Mickelson, who have combined to win five of the last nine Masters 
Tournaments, would figure to be the two favorites in the 2010 Masters Field. Woods took home the Green Jacket in 1997, 2001, 2002, and 2005, and he has been anything but pedestrain since his last title, finishing third, second, second, and sixth the last four years. Mickelson, who won the Masters in 2004 and 2006, had a 24th place finish in 2007, but he rebounded with fifth place finishes in 2008 and 2009.
The other past champions receiving individual odds include Fred Couples (+3000), Mike Weir (+6000), Vijay Singh (+5000), Angel Cabrera (+5000), Zach Johnson (+6000), Trevor Immelman (+10000), Bernhard Langer (+20000), Tom Watson (+25000), and Mark O'Meara (+50000). Of that list, only Langer and Watson are multiple Green Jacket winners. Couples is the favortie among the group, despite finishing no higher than 14th in the three PGA Tour events he has participated in this year.
Couples has been excellent on the Champions Tour, though, winning three of the four tournaments he has entered while finishing second in the other. The 50 year old Seattle native also took third at Augusta National in 2006 with a four under par score of 284. Couples won the Masters in 1992, shooting 69, 67, 69, and 70 through four rounds.
