Jim Furyk will begin play at 10:44am ET tomorrow morning in a group that includes fellow major winners Retief Goosen and 
Angel Cabrera. The 40 year old Pennsylvania native, who ranks No. 3 on the PGA Tour's money list this season, has two wins in 12 events played this year. Furyk took first place at the Transitions Championship on March 21st and also at the Verizon Heritage on April 18th. The former Arizona Wildcat last played at the Memorial two weekends ago where he finished 10th with a nine under par 279.
Furyk, who missed the cut at the Masters, won his first and only major in 2003 when he topped the leaderboard at the U.S. Open in Olympia Fields, Illinois. He placed second at the event in 2006 and 2007, but tied for 33rd at a rain soaked Bethpage Black last year.
Luke Donald has not performed his best on the PGA Tour this season, ranking 22 on the money list after 11 events; however, the 32 year old has been one of the top players on the European Tour. Donald is currently seventh in the European Tour rankings and he has three top five finishes in just six events played. He last saw action at the Celtic Manor Wales Open on June 6th where he took third with a 10 under par 274.
The Hempstead, England native's best finish at the U.S. Open came in 2006 when he tied for 12th. He has missed the cut or withdrawn in the last three U.S. Open Championships.
