Anthony Kim, the 23 year old Los Angeles native, comes into tomorrow's Open with a 2009 earnings total of $818,155 (58th on the money list). He has played in 11 events this year and recorded just one top 10 finish. Kim took second place at the Mercedes-Benz Championship back in January, but has cracked the top 20 just twice since then and has missed the cut three times.

Kim, who is third on the Tour in birdies per round at 4.17, came in 20th at this year's Masters with a 2-under-par 286. He was a distant 54th at his last event, the Crowne Plaza Invitational on May 28th – 31st. His average finish this season is a less than stellar 36.8, but it is an even worse 57.3 in his last three outings.

Stewart Cink, aside from having an identical scoring average to Kim, has also produced the exact same finishing average as the Oklahoma graduate at 36.8. The 36 year old has participated in 13 events this year and missed the cut three times. His best finish came back in February when he took third place a the WGC: Accenture Match at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Course in Dove Mountain.

Cink, who is ranked 148th in driving accuracy this year (57.4), took eighth place in his last event, The Memorial Tournament in Dublin, Ohio. The former Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket, who missed the cut at the Masters, is 42nd on the money list with a total of $1,053,476.

Kim is 4-3 against Cink this year in common tournaments, but Cink has been the better player of late, producing a average finish of 15 over his last two events.
