2009 US Open Odds: Two longshots to win this year's US Open have been pitted against one another in Bodog.com's head-to-head 2009 US Open betting odds. Lee Westwood and KJ Choi, neither of which has ever won a golf major, will attempt to make history at Bethpage Black this weekend. 2009 US Open Odds: Lee Westwood vs KJ Choi Prediction

Bodog.com is favoring the Englishman Westwood to get the better of Choi at the legendary New York course as he is presently listed at -120 moneyline odds to Choi's -110. Visit the online bookmaker right now to get down on their 2009 US Open Odds: Lee Westwood vs KJ Choi Prediction.

Lee Westwood has taken part in just four PGA Tour events this season and the results have been less than overwhelming. The Worksop, England native does not have a single top 10 finish, his best conclusion coming at the Shell Houston Open in April where he came in tied for 11th place.

Westwood, who finished 43rd at this year's Masters, does rank first on the Tour in greens in regulation percentage (71.76) and he is 48th in driving accuracy at 65.48 percent. The 36 year old took third place at last year's Open in San Diego, California.

KJ Choi is hoping for a turnaround in his US Open luck this weekend as he has missed the cut at the event the last three years. His play leading up to the major should bolster his confidence. Choi finished 24th at the Zurich Classic in New Orleans prior to a poor 71st finish at THE PLAYERS Championship. However, he rebounded from his miserable Sawgrass showing with a stellar 3-under-par 285 at the Memorial two weekends ago (13th).

Choi's game, like Westwood's, could be conducive to a respectable finish at Bethpage Black. The South Korean is adept at hitting the fairway (ranks 24th in driving accuracy) and at finding the green (ranks seventh in greens in regulation percentage).

Choi, who has four top 15 finishes this year, including a third place showing at the Northern Trust, has produced an average finish of 31.7 this season (Westwood 33).

Westwood is scheduled to tee off at 8:28am ET tomorrow morning while Choi will hit the tee box at 7:44am ET.
