Sergio Garcia is suffering through a rather forgettable 2009 season, having recorded zero top 10 finishes in the eight events he has participated in. Garcia has missed the cut twice, including last weekend's St. Jude Classic, and he is 127th on the PGA Tour money list.

Garcia, who last won at THE PLAYERS Championship in May of last year, had his best finish of the year at the Honda Classic in March, coming in 13th with a 2-under-par 278. The 29 year old has never won a major but came in second at in the 2008 PGA Championship.

Garcia finished fourth in the 2002 US Open, which also took place at the Bethpage Black Course in Farmingdale, New York.

Padraig Harrington, like Garcia, would probably like to start the season over. The Dublin, Ireland native has entered 12 events and missed the cut five times, including the last two tournaments (The Memorial Tournament and the St. Jude Classic). He is presently 108th on the Tour's money list with a total of $400,290.

Harrington's best result this year was an 11th place finish at the Arnold Palmer Invitational back in March. The 37 year old, who has won three of the last seven majors, finished 35th at the Masters with an even par 288.

Harrington, who beat Garcia by two strokes to win last year's PGA Championship, tied for 36th at the 2008 US Open, however, he finished ninth at Bethpage Black in the 2002 Open.

Harrington and Garcia have both taken part in five PGA events this year. Harrington has tied with Garcia once, finished behind him once, and finished ahead of him three times.

The 2009 US Open is scheduled to get underway on the morning of June 18th at Bethpage State Park in Farmingdale, New York. Harrington is set to tee off at 8:06am ET on Thursday morning while Garica will tee off at 1:25pm ET in the afternoon.
