He won the 2009 Arnold Palmer Invitational, the 2009 Memorial Tournament and the 2009 AT & T National. Tiger is a three time Open winner, first winning in 2000 at St. Andrews; his next Open win came in 2005 once again at St. Andrews and his last win came in 2006 at Royal Liverpool Golf Club. He too won back to back, just like Padraig Harrington. Tiger has never played the Ailsa Course in Turnberry, but has been there all week to check it out. Tiger currently ranks 8th in Eagles (Holes per) on the PGA Tour and currently averages a score of 69.28 per round. He is also ranked 1st in FedEX Standings. Sergio Garcia has had no luck this year, especially after he was dumped by his girlfriend Greg Norman’ daughter. This year he has made eight of ten cuts with no wins. His best finish was at the 2009 US Open where he finished T-10; he has two other Top-25 finishes. He does, however, do well at the Open Championships. He has six Top-10 finishes, from 2001-03 he finished Top-10 or better. He missed the cut in 2004 and rebounded from 2005-07 with two Top-5 finishes and in 2007 he was runner-up to Padraig Harrington after a playoff hole was needed. In 2008 he had awful luck finishing T-51. At this year’s first two majors Sergio finished T-38 at the 2009 Masters and T-10 at the US Open.
