2010 British Open Results: Louis Oosthuizen did not wilt under the pressure of third round action at St. Andrews, keeping his lead for a second straight day by hitting a three under par 69. The South African's stellar play has him sitting at 15 under for the tournament and four strokes ahead of England's Paul Casey. Rounding out the top six at the 139th Open Championship are Martin Kaymer, Henrik Stenson, Alejandro Canizares, and Lee Westwood.
Louis Oosthuizen had his worst round of the Open Championship thus far, but he still finished under par for the day with a 
final tally of 69. The 27 year old got off to an ominus start by scoring his fourth bogey of the tournament on the par four one hole, but he quickly regained his composure with pars on holes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8 and birdies on 7 and 9. He also avoided any miscues on the back nine, only lowering his score with two more birds on holes 16 and 18.
Casey, who began the day at six under, made a hard charge at Oosthuizen this afternoon with a five under par 67. The 32 year old Casey hit five bridies on the front nine and parred every hole on the back nine to move to 11 under for the tournament. The Arizona State graduate, who is presently 24th on the PGA Tour's money list, has sole possession of second place and a three stroke lead over Martin Kaymer.
Kaymer shot a four under par 68 on the day sending him to eight under through the first three rounds of action and vaulting him past Henrik Stenson, Alejandro Canizares, and Lee Westwood, all of which are presently tied at seven under par.
Tiger Woods, Bodog.com's favorite to win the Open Championship prior to Thursday's start (-110 moneyline odds), is tied for 18th place after shooting a one over 73 for a second consecutive day. Woods scored birdies on holes 9, 12, and 15, but ran into trouble on 5, 8, 13, and 17.
Oosthuizen and Casey are scheduled to tee off at 9:05am ET tomorrow morning.
