2010 PGA Championship Odds: The golf season's final major is a mere two weeks away as the Tour heads to Whistling Straights Golf Course in Kohler, Wisconsin for the 92nd PGA Championship. The event is schedule to hit the 7514 yard, par 72 course, which rests next to Lake Michigan, on Thursday, August 12th. 2010 PGA Championship Odds at SPORTSBETTING.com have Tiger Woods listed as a +500 moneyline favorite to win the tournament. Last year's champion, YE Yang, who outdueled Woods on the final day of action at the Hazeltime National Golf Club, is listed at +8000 odds to defend his title. Tiger Woods keeps on falling short in his bid for a 15th major championship, but the betting public has not shied away from Tiger, despite his personal and professional troubles over the past 10 months, makes as good as sense as any other player as favorite, though, especially given his track record. He has four PGA Championships on his resume, including the 2006 and 2007 Championships, and he has finished inside the top four seven times in his last 10 PGA Championships played. Following Woods in the latest PGA Championship odds is the world's number two golfer, Phil Mickelson, at +900 moneyline odds. Mickelson, who is presently number two on the PGA Tour's moneylist, won his fourth major in April at the Masters, but he placed a distant 48th at the British Open earlier this month with a one over 289. Lefty, winner of the 2005 PGA Championship at the Baltusrol Golf Club in New Jersey, has produced eight top 10 finishes in 17 career PGA Championships. Lee Westwood is the third favorite to win the 2010 PGA Championship, coming in at +1200 moneyline odds. Westwood has yet to win a major, but the Englishmen has certainly been close, finishing inside the top three in four of the last five majors. making him the favorite in golf's biggest events. Woods latest attempt at what is proving to be an elusive victory came at the Open Championship at St. Andrews 12 days ago. The California native finished 23rd at the Old Course after shooting a three under par 285, a tally 13 strokes higher than that of winner Louis Oosthuizen. Prior to the British Open Woods took 46th at the AT&T National at the Aronimink Golf Club in Pennsylvania.
