Graeme McDowell has played the best golf of his career this year and his position atop the European Tour's Race to Dubai 
rankings is indicative of that fact. McDowell has faltered some of late, posting an average finish of 24.25 in his last four events, but he still has two wins and five top 10 finishes on the season.
McDowell, who won the U.S. Open with an even par 284, last played at the World Golf Championships in Akron, Ohio, where he finished 22nd with a one under par 279. The Northern Ireland native has missed the cut twice at the PGA Championship (2004, 2005) while placing 37th, 15th, and 10th in his other three tournament appearances.
Hardly anyone except diehard golf fans had heard of Louis Oosthuizen prior to his winning turn at St. Andrews last month, but the unassuming South African is now a budding star. His game certainly warrants the attention as he presently ranks fourth in the Race to Dubai standings.
Oosthuizen has had some ups and downs this season, missing the cut at both the Masters and U.S. Open while also posting two wins and six top 10 finishes on the European Tour. He has played some of his best golf leading up to this weekend's action, though, recording three straight top 10's, including a ninth place finish at Firestone just a few days ago.
