 The PGA Tour is back on schedule after last week’s PGA Championship. The 2008 Wyndham Championship starts August 14 at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.N. Last year’s winner Brant Snedeker looks to defend his title. This is the final event before the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup. Vijay Singh failed to make the cut at the PGA Championship and he’s looks to get his game back on track. He has only one win this year, which was the 2008 World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational. He also has two top 2 finishes and one top 3 finishes. He ranks fifth on the PGA TOUR Money Leaders board.
Davis Love III is a two time winner of the Wyndham Championship. His best finish this season was a tie for 19th at the Open Championship. The reason for the decline in Loves game is his chronic back injuries, but he has felt a lot better recently and he’s looking to get back in contention for the FedExCup Playoffs, where he sits 150th. David Toms did well at the PGA Championship where he finished tied for 15th. He's quietly made 11 cuts in a row, and his swing last week in Michigan was back on target. Toms now heads to an accuracy-over-power course that should play to his strengths, and he's one of the few players in the field who's already played a round at Sedgefield Country Club. Brandt Snedeker has been streaking since his tie for third at the 2008 Masters, he tied for ninth at the 2008 US Open and had another impressive finish last week at the PGA Championship. Brandt Snedeker is listed at 28/1 to repeat as Champion
