Raphael Jacquelin offers punders good value at BMW InvitationalFrance´s Raphael Jacquelin is the Point-Spreads.com headline tip for punters on this week's BMW Invitational in Germany. Jacquelin is 30 to 1 odds at Sportsbook.com for this week.

BMW arrivals from Oakmont head the betting for the BMW because they are the famous names punters like to back – Ernie Els, Paul Casey, Henrik Stenson, Ian Poulter and Nick Dougherty will be popular choices.

However, this means there are some nice prices about for much fresher players who are more likely to play their best.

It's a long journey from Pittsburgh back across the Atlantic to Europe and Raphael Jacquelin is the most appealing of those and the much-improved French raider gets the main vote at 30 to 1 odds.

Jacquelin landed his second European Tour title with a bold front-running performance in the Asian Open in April. That was a victory in between several other impressive efforts which have propelled him to 11th in the Order of Merit.

He was runner-up in the Portugal, sixth in China, seventh in Italy, seventh in Ireland, and closed with a 65 in Wales last time out. This is a man full of confidence and expecting to contend whenever he tees up.

Alejandro Canizares is our second selection at 40-1 golf betting odds.

The youngster arrived at Nord-Eichenried last year the week after landing the Russian Open (his breakthrough win) and he was second at the halfway stage before running out of gas and finishing 25th.

This lad is clearly going places and he was on the leader board for much of the week at Wentworth last month, where he ended up 20th.

A fast-finishing eighth place in the Wales Open, where he closed with a brace of 65s, is sufficiently encouraging form to suggest he could make waves this week.
