The Blackhawks come into this one on a bit of a streak themselves as they have won two in a row and six of their last eight overall. They almost had their streak snapped yesterday as they blew a four goal lead in the third period but managed a 6-5 overtime win over Los Angeles. Even with their 6-2-2 mark their last 10 the Blackhawks are still eight points out of the final playoff spot. They have had better production out of their offense then the Ducks have as they rank 14th in the NHL scoring an average of 2.80 points per game. Their defense has been in the middle of the pack giving up as many goals as they score at 2.80 per game. This one could prove to be a tough one for Chicago as they have lost the last four meetings versus the Ducks including the first two times that they have met this season.
But all might not be lost for the Chicago backers as the Blackhawks are 6-2 ATS in road games after scoring 5 goals or more in their previous game this season. Anaheim will be playing their fifth game in a row at home and it appears that they enjoy home cooking as they are 14-4 ATS after playing 2 consecutive home games this season.
