The Oilers (40-34-6) are last in the Northwest with 86 points, but with two games to play, can still qualify for the postseason. To do that, they'll need to win both of their remaining games against Calgary and Vancouver. The Oilers recently beat Calgary 2-1 on the road as underdogs. They got goals from Denis Grebeshkov and Dustin Penner. They’ve averaged 3.80 GAG in their last five and their power play has two goals in two games or five tries. Goalie Dwayne Roloson had been struggling prior to the game in Calgary, going 3-2-1 in his last six starts but posting a 3.80 GAA. Their defense has stepped up their penalty kill, not allowing a goal in two games or five kills. The Oilers are 4-1 SU in their last five at home and 23-16 SU overall at home.

The Flames have lost back to back games and they are 5 for 5 in their last ten. They recently lost 2-6 to Vancouver as road favs. Calgary sits in seventh place in the West and picking up points in its final three games is a must or they could miss the playoffs all together. They’ve only been able to muster up 2.20 GAG in their last five and their power play has been lack luster in their last five scoring three in 14 tries. Goalie Miika Kiprusoff has one win in four starts for a 3.00 GAA. Jarome Iginla's next goal will give him his first season with 50 since 2001. Although he hasn't scored in the Flames' last three losses, and Calgary is 14-23-7 when Iginla doesn't record a goal. Iginla has two goals and five assists against Edmonton this season. Flames are 1-5 SU in their last six road games.
