Montreal at Boston, Saturday @ 7:00 p.m. ET Montreal put its faith in rookie Carey Price when it traded starter Cristobal Huet to the Washington Capitals at the trade deadline. The young goaltender made Habs management look like geniuses, playing excellent hockey down the stretch and in the first four games of this series. Price finally showed he was human on Thursday, making a costly mistake that blew the game wide open. With Game 5 deadlocked at one goal a piece, Price foolishly played a puck he could have froze. Boston's Petteri Nokelainen quickly stole the puck and flipped it into the net, breaking the tie and igniting a four-goal third period for the Bruins. It marked the first time Price has allowed more than two goals in a game this series. A key for Boston is maintaining its great play on special teams. The Canadiens led the NHL in power play efficiency, but they're just two of 24 in the postseason. The Bruins got their own power play rolling in Game 5, scoring twice in five opportunities with the man advantage. If the B's can be successful in those phases of the game they've got a chance at evening this series. No matter how you cut it, the Montreal Canadiens are a much more talented team. Most expected them to put the Boston Bruins down quickly and mercilessly (the betting lines reflected that), and it appeared that would be the case through two games. Boston has done well to slow the Habs, but it won't last forever. In Game 6, the better team prevails and Montreal closes out the series. It's not too late to get into the action.
