Nashville Predators (2-3) at Anaheim Ducks (3-4-1)
Wednesday, 10:05 pm Eastern

SBG Global Opening Line: Ducks  -185 , Total 7.5 Under (-120)

Anaheim has won two of their last three games including a 6-3 win against Detroit on Monday. Chris Pronger and Ryan Getzlaf each had three assists for the Ducks.  Anaheim was playing without forwards Todd Bertuzzi and Todd Marchant and defenseman Mathieu Schneider. The Ducks are still without defenseman Scott Niedermayer and right wing Teemu Selanne who are looking at possible retirements.  Starting goaltender Jean-Sebastien Giguere didn't play after making his season debut in Sunday's 2-0 loss to Minnesota. "We were short-staffed. It's not easy to replace those people in your lineup, but it's a situation where other people have an opportunity to play more and others to step up," coach Randy Carlyle said.  Backup goalie Ilya Bryzgalov played well stopping 32 shots. Giguere is 10-4-1 with three shutouts and a 1.69 goals-against average in his last 15 starts against the Predators.

SBG Global Current Line: Ducks  -200 , Total 5.5 Under (-135)

Nashville has lost three straight and has been outscored 17-8. "Our decision making the last two games has been atrocious," coach Barry Trotz said. "We dig ourselves a hole, fight back, then someone makes a poor decision and it ends up in our net."  Goalie Chris Mason has been poor ranking 30th in the league. "Turnovers are going to be there all year, but I have got to be there," Mason said. "It's my job to make some saves when we break down and keep us in the game."
