It is the first time that the Flyers have won consecutive games since November and put them only 5 points behind the first place New Jersey Devils. Philadelphia has been potent on offense as they rank 3rd in the league scoring an average of 3.17 goals per game. Joffrey Lupul has been the Flyers' most potent scorer of late with10 goals and eight assists in his last nine games, including a pair of hat tricks. Mike Richards leads the team with 43 points and has four goals and nine assists over the same span. The Flyers rank only 19th in goals per game. Starting goaltender Martin Biron has struggled versus the Panthers as he is winless with a 3.38 goals-against average in three games against them since he was traded to the Flyers from Buffalo on Feb. 27.
The Flyers might be on a two game winning streak but that could spell trouble as they are only 1-8 ATS off a road win this season. But that might not matter as the Panthers counter with a horrible 1-6 ATS mark in home games after having won 4 or 5 of their last 6 games this season..
