The Dallas Stars are coming off a huge season last year that saw them produce 107 points. This season that seems to have been fixed thus far as they are averaging 3.03 goals per game and rank 6^th in the league overall. Their defense has also come through as they give up 2.51 goals per game and rank 7^th. Should the Stars get off to a quick start and go into the third period with the lead then they might pull off the win as they are 80% effective in that scenario this year.

Before you mail this one in for the Stars they haven’t shown to be very successful during long streaks of winning as they are only 7-17 ATS after having won 15 or more of their last 20 games since 1996. However, Nashville seems to have problems shaking off a loss and having to play on the road as they are a horrible 5-16 ATS in road games after a game where they failed to cover the spread over the last 2 seasons
