Connemara 2010 Kentucky Derby Odds: Connemara will try to earn his way into the 2010 Kentucky Derby in the $300,000 Lexington Stakes on Saturday at Keeneland. Online racebook BODOG.com had listed Connemara 75 to 1 odds to win the 2010 Kentucky Derby.
Todd Pletcher trains the three-year-old colt. In the 12-horse field Saturday, Connemara will start from the No. 10 post and be ridden by Russell Baze. Connemara won the El Camino Real Derby in February and finished third in the Lane's End Stakes at Turfway Park last month. He currently has $138,500 in graded stakes earnings and would easily move into the top 20 in graded earnings by taking home the $180,000 winner's share Saturday.
Trainer Todd Pletcher is the four-time Eclipse Award winner as outstanding trainer and won the Lexington Stakes, one of the final major prep races for the Kentucky Derby.
