Ice Box 2010 Kentucky Derby Odds: 2010 Kentucky Derby contender Ice Box worked four furlongs in just over 48 seconds at Churchill Downs Friday morning. Online racebook BODOG.com had listed Icebox 15 to 1 odds to win the 2010 Kentucky Derby.
Ice Box last race was back in March when he won the Florida Derby. His trainer Nick Zito is happy with his progress since the Florida Derby. “I'm extremely happy,” trainer Nick Zito said. “He's had three mile-and-an-eighth races in a row. … This was the work we wanted. Next week we might do something maybe a little sharper. The horse has it inside him to go long. I just have to try to make sure he stays the same way.”
