2010 Kentucky Derby Predictions: Paddy O'Prado 20 to 1 Derby Odds: The product of Irish champion El Prado, gray colt Paddy O'Prado, is currently listed at 20 to 1 Derby odds at online racebook Sportsbook.com. The inexperienced horse will start tomorrow's 136th Kentucky Derby from gate 10, riding under veteran jockey Kent Desormeaux.
Paddy O'Prado has raced in just one contest this year, taking second place at the Grade 1 Toyota Blue Grass

"He showed he certainly didn't mind (the slop)," said Romans referring to O'Prado :58.40 five furlong practice run last Friday. "(Rain) wouldn't bother me a bit on Derby day."
Romans was also pleased with drawing gate 10 for the Run for the Roses.
"I think it is the spot I would have picked if I had a chance to pick," he said.
O'Prado also has the benefit of Desormeaux guiding him in tomorrow evening's run. Desormeaux, who rode Summer Bird to Belmont glory last year, is a three time Derby winning jockey, piloting Real Quiet, Fusaichi Pegasus, and Big Brown to first place at Churchill Downs.
