2010 Kentucky Derby Odds Noble’s Promise 35 to 1 Derby Predictions: Noble’s Promise just may have his chance at getting even with Lookin At Lucky Saturday afternoon at the 2010 Kentucky Derby. Noble’s Promise has finished right behind Lookin At Lucky three times in his career. Nobles Promise is second in Graded Stakes earnings at $738,000, second only to Lookin At Lucky. Online racebook BODOG.com has posted horse racing betting odds to win the Kentucky Derby 2010.
Noble’s Promise will leave from the 3rd
gate during the 2010 Kentucky Derby. Jockey Willie Martinez gushed about reuniting with Noble’s Promise and was happy about the few works this week at Churchill Downs. Martinez jockeyed the colt to victory in the Breeders Futurity last year. He said smiling, “I told my family to dress up nicely because we’re going to take a picture that day. I’m going to tell them the same thing Saturday.”
The Chasing Dreams group that owns Noble’s Promise is a Kentucky partnership of friends. The group consists of Colliver, Brewster, Springate and Ron Holmberg. They are all very excited their colt made it to the Derby despite the tragic loss of Noble Asset, who was euthanized due to a shoulder injury.
Some speculate Noble’s Promise will have trouble running on dirt at the 2010 Kentucky Derby. The colt had no history of running on dirt prior to the Rebel Stakes at Oaklawn where he placed 2nd.
