First Dude is the son of Stephen Got Even, who in 1999 finished in fourth at the Preakness Stakes. First Dude has earned less than any horse in the Preakness field but still has a good chance at placing on Saturday. Trainer Dale Romans is confident in First Dude and said he was please with his work at his prep run.
