2010 Preakness Stakes Odds: The 135th Run for the Black-Eyed Susans will take place today at the legendary Pimlico racetrack in Baltimore, Maryland. Jockey Calvin Borel, who has won three of the last four Run for the Roses, will attempt to get his second consecutive Preakness Stakes title aboard Super Saver this afternoon. The pair will start the race from gate eight.
Kentucky Derby favorite, Lookin At Lucky, is another favorite today at Pimlico, coming in a 3 to 1 odds. Lucky failed to meet expectations by finishing sixth at Churchill Downs two weekends ago. Hall of Fame trainer Bob Baffert indicated that a poor post draw (one) at the Derby contributed to the colt's mediocre showing. There will be no such excuse in Baltimore today as the horse will begin the Preakness from the seven hole.
The third favorite in the 2010 Preakness Stakes is third place Derby finisher Paddy O'Prado. The Roan Colt has recorded just one career win, but in seven career starts O'Prado has placed outside the top three just one time. The Dale Romans trained horse will start today's race from post position 10.
Rounding out the 12 horse field are Jackson Bend (post 6), Caracortado (psot 9), Dublin (post 12), Schoolyard Dreams (post 2), Pleasant Prince (post 3), Aikenite (post 1), First Dude (post 11), Yawanna Twist (post 5), and Northern Giant (post 4).
