Preakness Stakes 2010: Lookin At Lucky 3 to 1 Preakness Odds: The son of Smart Strike, Lookin At Lucky, will get a chance at redemption today after failing to meet expectations at Churchill Downs two weekends ago. Lucky, the favorite going into the Derby, will start today's race from post position seven. Lookin At Lucky will participate in his 10th career race today as he navigates the dirt at Pimlico in Baltimore. Going 
into the Derby, the colt had recorded six wins, one place, and one show, making his sixth place finish at Churchill Downs a major disappointment. However, trainer Bob Baffert knew the horse might be in trouble after drawing the rail in Louisville, which is a difficult assignment, especially in a 22 horse field.
Baffert is hopeful the seven hole start in today's 12 horse field will get the highly regarded Lucky back on track.
"I like the 7. I wanted 7, 8 or 9," Baffert said. "I like those post positions here. You still have to get away well and everything. I'm just glad that the horse finally drew a decent post position. Now he's going to have to run hard. The way he's been training. I don't see why he wouldn't."
Lookin At Lucky will also have a new jockey this afternoon as Baffert relieved veteran rider Garrett Gomez of his duties after unsatisfactory results at the Santa Anita and Kentucky Derbies. In his place will be 25 year old Mexican jockey Martin Garcia. Garcia got his first Triple Crown race at Churchill Downs two weekends ago when he guided Conveyance, another Baffert trained horse, to a 15th place finish.
