2010 Belmont Predictions: Interactif 11 to 1 Belmont Odds: Trainer Todd Pletcher, who got his first Kentucky Derby victory this year with Super Saver, will go for his second Triple Crown race tonight with the Broken Vow sired colt Interactif. 2010 Belmont Predictions at SPORTSBETTING.com have the horse listed at 11 to 1 Belmont Odds. The 142nd Belmont Stakes are scheduled to take place at 6:30pm ET at the Belmont Park in Elmont, New York. The event will be broadcast live on ABC.
Interactif heads into today's classic off of a fourth place run at the G1 Bluegrass Stakes in early April. The colt finished 
behind Derby runners Stately Victor and Paddy O'Prado as well as second place Preakness runner First Dude. Prior to his Bluegrass run, Interactif took second at the G2 San Felipe in March. The horse, which broke its maiden in July of 2009, has two G3 wins on its resume.
Unfortunately for Pletcher, Interactif, who is the grandson of 1990 Kentucky Derby winner Unbridled, drew the far outside 12 post for the Belmont.
"It's a 1 1/2 mile race, and there's an eighth of a mile run into the first turn," Pletcher said. "We'll have to secure some kind of position. On paper, First Dude is the speed, so we hope we can just follow him over. Or maybe we'll just take the lead."
Working out this plan will be Venezuelan jockey Javier Castellano, aveteran of three Belmont runs and a Preakness (2006) and Breeders' Cup Classic winner. The 32 year old's best finish in the Belmont Stakes came in 2004 when he finished sixth aboard Tap Dancer. His 2005 ride, Watchmon, placed ninth and Guadalcanal finished seventh under his guidance in 2008.
