Online racebook BetUS.com has made Street Sense a 3.5 to 1 favorite to win the Kentucky Derby. Street Sense was trained by Carl Nafzger and will be ridden by jockey Calvin Borel.
Horse Racing Expert Anthony Stabile of VegasInsider.com stated this about Street Sense, “I had a dream Tuesday night that he won the Derby by eight lengths. Just so you know, I also dreamt that Giacomo won the Derby the Monday before he paid over $100. Guess what? I didn’t bet Giacomo and I’m not betting this guy either. I hate that he’ll have only two preps and have strong suspicions that there is something wrong with this horse which would explain the winter disappearing act and the light schedule. I also think he’s always seemed to be in the right place at the right time in his wins. In a 20 horse field, it’ll be a bit more difficult for that magic to stay with him. Reportedly, the work on April 24 was the stuff of legends. There are plenty in here that can be legend killers. I can’t knock anyone for betting him, but I’m not using him at all.”
