Broncos vs Chargers Monday Night Football Odds: The San Diego Chargers will attempt to stay in the AFC West race tonight as they host the unbeaten Denver Broncos. A Denver win would move the Bronocs record to 6-0 and give them a three game lead in the standings over the second place Chargers. Pittsburgh dominated most of the game but the Chargers did put together a furious fourth quarter rally to draw within 10 points. Quarterback Phillip Rivers, who sparked the late run, completed 21-of-36 passes for 254 yards and three touchdowns in the loss. Tight end Antonio Gates was also a major player in the failed comeback, catching nine balls for 124 yards. Gates also reeled in two second half touchdown passes. San Diego finished the game with a meager 251 yards of offense as the ground game produced just 16 yards against the Steelers stout defense. The Chargers defense had a long flight home from the Steel City as they yielded 32 first downs, eight third down conversions, and 497 yards to Pittsburgh's offense. The Steelers were also 5-for-5 in red zone opportunities and possessed the ball 40:20. Series Notes and Betting Trends: The Broncos, which are 5-0 against the spread this season, are 1-4 straight up in their last five visits to San Diego (4-6 last 10), losing by an average of 20.5 points per game.
