NFL Week 9 Predictions: The coming weekend of NFL action could be the most significant of the season thus far with several important games slated for Sunday. Division battles between the Cowboys and Eagles, Dolphins and Patriots, Ravens and Bengals, and Texans and Colts could have a huge impact on conference seedings. Dallas Cowboys vs Philadelphia Eagles (-3): My how things have changed in the NFC East. The Giants looked to have things all but locked up a few weeks ago, sitting at 5-0 while the Cowboys and Eagles treaded water. New York, though, has dropped three straight since that time to fall to third place in the standings while Dallas and Philly have put together three and two game win streaks, respectively, to move into a first place tie at 5-2. The winner of this contest will not only take the division lead, they will also avoid, at least for another week, being caught up in a Wildcard chase that includes New York, Green Bay, Chicago, Atlanta, and, potentially, San Francisco and Carolina.

Things do not look good for Dallas heading into this game, despite the three game win streak. The Cowboys are 1-6 over the last five years as a road dog off of back to back home games and they are just 2-8 in their last 10 games at Philly. Also, the Eagles are 6-1 the last five years playing as a home favorite coming off of back to back wins.

Baltimore Ravens vs Cincinnati Bengals (+3): Baltimore stayed alive on Sunday, handing the Broncos their first defeat of the season with a 30-7 victory at M&T Bank Stadium. At 4-3 the Ravens now have their eyes set on the division leading Bengals, a team they lost to just three weeks ago in Baltimore. Cincinnati won the game 17-14 but they dominated John Harbaugh's squad statistically. The Bengals had 10 more first downs, two more third down conversions, 146 more yards, and nine minutes of possession time. Baltimore cannot allow that to happen again and expect to beat a well rested Cincy squad that is 4-1-1 in its last six games as a home underdog.

Things to consider: The Bengals are 0-3-1 in their last four games off of a bye. Cincinnati is 7-3 against the spread and straight up in its last 10 games as a home underdog with a spread between 0 and 3.5 and total between 41.5 and 44.
