With his relationship with UFC brass now mended, Quinton "Rampage" Jackson can now focus on 
regaining his light heavyweight title belt, which he will get a shot at if he can secure a win this evening. However, while the opportunity to wear the championship belt may be appealing, Jackson has something else in mind…destroying Rashad Evans.
The animosity between Jackson and Evans is no secret and fight fans have been clamouring to see the two square off since their stint as coaches on The Ultimate Figher season 10. Apparantly Jackson's feelings toward Evans did not soften while he was on the set filming the upcoming A-Team movie. He too appears more than anxious to mix it up with his hated rival.
"I really want to knock this guy out," Jackson said. "I've never, ever wanted to knock someone as cold as I want to knock Evans out."
Jackson, who is 5-1 in the UFC and 30-7 overall, might have to overcome some ring rust, though. He has not fought since taking out Evans' close friend Keith Jardine in March of last year. Rashad has been inside the Octagon twice since then, losing his belt to Lyoto Machida last May and beating Thiago Silvavia via unanimous decision in January.
Evans, who will also get a shot newly minted light heavyweight champion Mauricio Rua if he wins tonight, has no love lost for Jackson either.
"I can't wait until I finally get my chance to shut him up," Evans said. "There were a lot of times on the show when I wanted to hit him right there."
