The two will meet in the Octagon at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada shortly before headliners Rampage Jackson and Rashad Evans settle their long running fued. Michael Bisping appeared to be cruising his way to a shot at a UFC title in 2008, having won three 
consecutive fights and seven of his eight forays into the Octagon, but those days are long gone. While Bisping may one day get a crack at the middleweight belt, he has some serious work to do in order for that opportunity to come to fruition. "The Count" has dropped two of his last three fights, including a devastating knock out at the hands, or hand, of Dan Henderson.
Bisping, who hails from Manchester, England, last fought in February when he lost a unanimous decision to PRIDE legend Wanderlei Silva. The always confident Brit appears to be unphased by his recent setbacks, though, and, according to him, his road to recovery will begin with Miller this evening.
"I think I have a big advantage [over Miller] in the standup department," Bisping said. "But I think I'm just as good a wrestler as him and equally dangerous on the ground."
Dan Miller, the 28 year old New Jersey native, has also ran into hard times of late. The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Balck Belt, who is 11-3 as a professional fighter, has lost back-to-back fights, falling to middleweight contenders Chael Sonnen and Demian Maia. The consecutive losses both came via unanimous decision.
Miller, who may be facing a wheat from the chaff moment tonight, seems to be well aware that Bisping could be a third straight loss on his UFC resume.
"He's a tough dude," Miller said. "He's a very good fighter and I've got a tough task in front of me, but I'm hoping I come out with a win."
