UFC 115 Betting Odds & Predictions Chuck Liddell vs Rich Franklin: UFC 115 takes place tonight at the General Motors Place in Vancouver, British Columbia. The 11 fight card is being headlined by a light heavyweight matchup between UFC legends Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell and Rich "Ace" Franklin. The two former champions are both making one last push for a title shot before they call it a career. Their journey back to contention starts this evening as they square off inside the Octagon for the first time. It has been 14 months since former light heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell has stepped in the Octagon, but by all 
accounts he is more prepared than ever. Liddell, who has admitted to letting himself get badly out of shape between fights, almost called it career, at the behest of Dana White, due to his declining performance (Liddell has lost four of his last five fights, three by T/KO). However, he appears to be in the right frame of mind heading into this evening's skirmish and his present physique is certainly indicative of someone who is taking things seriously.
Despite his recent string of poor showings, Liddell is more than confident he will handle Franklin in tonight's main event.
"I'm ready for this fight. I'm in the best shape of my life and I can't wait to get back in the Octagon," Liddell said. "I'll tell you how this is gonna end, I'm knocking Rich out."
Rich Franklin has also been out of sorts of late, losing two of his last three fights, including a knock out at the hands of Vitor Belfort last September. That setback dropped the former middleweight champion's career record to 27-5 and his UFC mark to 12-4.
Franklin, who made the move back to light heavyweight in September of 2008, claims he is refocused as well. If he is, tonight's showdown with Liddell should be highly entertaining if nothing else as both fighters are stand and bang types with knockout power. And the winner will also join the mix as a contender in the UFC's most talent laden division.
UFC 115 is scheduled to begin at 10:00pm ET tonight; the event can be seen live on Pay-Per-View.
