UFC 100: Betting Odds & Predictions The biggest and best fight card in UFC history takes place, Saturday July 11, in Las Vegas as two fighters put their titles on the line and two Ultimate Fighter coaches collide. UFC heavyweight title holder Brock Lesnar defends his crown against rival Frank Mir and UFC welterweight champion Georges "Rush" St-Pierre puts his belt up for grabs against Brazilian knockout artist Thiago "Pitbull" Alves. Michael Bisping and Dan Henderson also do business in the Octagon. Be sure to get your UFC 100: Betting Odds & Predictions in now at Bodog.com

Brock Lesnar (-250) vs Frank Mir (+190)

Brock Lesnar looks to get revenge on Frank Mir, who beat Lesnar at UFC 81 just 90 seconds into the first round, after Mir submitted Lesnar by leg lock. For Lesnar, it was a valuable lesson learned during his quest to become the UFC Heavyweight Champion. After all, he appeared to be dominating the action through the first 80 seconds of the fight before making a single mistake that opened the door for Mir to bring the former NCAA national wrestling champion’s UFC debut to an abrupt, unceremonious end. Lesnar’s next fight was at UFC 87 against Heath Herring where Lesnar needed three rounds to beat Herring by unanimous decision. Lesnar was then hand fed a title fight against Randy Couture at UFC 91 when Lesnar had no business being in a title fight with a 1-1 UFC record. Lesnar bludgeoned Randy Couture over two rounds to win the heavyweight title, which Dana White wanted. Frank Mir has won his last three fights and is ready for Lesnar. Mir shocked the world with a career-best performance against Antonio “Minotauro” Nogueira, scoring a second-round TKO win at UFC 92 to become the first man to stop the all-time great inside the distance. For Mir to win he’ll have to watch out for the hammer punches of Lesnar and look for a submission hold on his legs or neck.

Georges St-Pierre (-300) vs Thiago Alves (+240)

GSP knows this will be his toughest fight, but he is very confident at the same time. GSP has won his last five fights over notable fighters like Josh Koscheck, Matt Hughes, Matt Serra, Jon Fitch and recently BJ Penn. Against Penn, at UFC 94, GSP successfully defending his title with a 4th round TKO over UFC Lightweight Champion Penn. GSP is pound for pound the most fit and deadliest fighters in the UFC who has superb speed, skill and strength. Thiago Alves has won his last seven fights with big wins over Chris Lytle, Karo Parisyan, Matt Hughes and recently Josh Koscheck. Against Koscheck, at UFC 90, Alves needed three rounds and the judge’s decision to win by unanimous decision. Alves is a fighter steeped in BJJ and he has great kicking skills that can bring down any fighter. GSP should win this fight by submission or TKO.

Dan Henderson (-220) vs Michael Bisping (+180)

Dan Henderson has won his last two fights over Rousimar Palhares and most recently over Rich Franklin, at UFC 93. Henderson won by split decision and was subsequently selected to lead Team USA on season 9 of The Ultimate Fighter, with Michael Bisping coaching the opposing Team UK. Michael Bisping has won his last three fights over Charles McCarthy, Jason Day and most recently over Chris Leben, at UFC 89. Bisping won by TKO as McCarthy was unable to continue after the first round due to a forearm injury he sustained after receiving an unanswered series of knees and uppercuts from Bisping. These fights that were handed to Bisping were easy, I think Dana White wants this guy to win as he brings in big money in Britain. His true test was against Rashad Evans, at UFC 78, resulted in his first and only loss, via split decision. But before his one and only loss, Bisping fought Matt Hamill in London, his hometown, and won a controversial split decision after 3 rounds. Hamill pushed the pace and took Bisping down numerous times in the first two rounds, with Bisping hitting solid strikes and blocking numerous takedown attempts towards the end of the second and in the third round. The American crowd blamed the result on the fight being in Bisping's home country. Bisping later admitted he had luck in getting the nod over Hamill and accepted his loss to Evans. Bisping has been spoon fed fights and can’t beat better fighters, Henderson will win.
