UFC 119 Betting Odds: Mixed martial arts biggest promotion heads to Indianapolis, Indiana this week for UFC 119: Mir vs Cro Cop. Frank Mir's up and down run in the UFC hit another low back in March when he suffered a first round TKO against the always
dangerous Shane Carwin. The loss was Mir's second in his last three fights as he sandwiched an impressive submission of Cheick Kongo in between setbacks to current champion Brock Lesnar and the aforementioned defeat at the hands of Carwin.
Mir, who has held heavyweight and interim-heavyweight titles for the UFC, can work his way back into the title picture with a win over the legendary Cro Cop this weekend; however, he still has some work to do given the number of top heavyweights that moved ahead of him after the Carwin loss.
Mirko Cro Cop, who has won three of his last four fights, can also further insert himself into the championship mix by taking out Mir on Saturday. The former PRIDE Gran Prix winner earned an unlikely submission against up and comer Pat Barry the last time he stepped in the Octagon, and since returning to the UFC in June of 2009 he has finished in all three of his victories.
Also on this weekend's card are battles between top light heavyweight contenders Antonio Rogerio Nogueira and Ryan Bader and lightweight fighters Sean Sherk and Evan Dunham. Bader and Dunham, both of which are favored in their upcoming bouts, have yet to taste professional defeat, going a combined 23-0 overall and 8-0 in the UFC.
