UFC 120 Betting Odds: The UFC returns to the O2 Arena in London on Saturday for its 120th fight card. The event, which will be broadcast for free on Spike TV, features top middleweights Michael Bisping and Yoshihiro Akiyama in a main event bout. The undercard includes a number of quality pairings, including a dust up between welterweight contenders Dan "The Outlaw" Hardy and former WEC Champion Carlos "Natural Born Killer" Condit. UFC 120 Betting Odds at online bookmaker Bodog.com have Bisping listed as a -200 moneyline favorite in the headlining fight.
Michael Bisping's UFC career got off to a great start as the Manchester, England native won six of his first seven fights, with
the only loss coming against former light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans. However, Bisping's success has been more sporadic of late with the 31 year old failing to record back-to-back wins in his last five trips inside the Octagon.
"The Count" has dropped two of his last four fights, falling to Dan Henderson and Wanderlei Silva, but he did record a victory over Dan Miller at UFC 114 in May, which was his last scrap.
Bisping can start to work his way back into the title picture with a win over Akiyama on Saturday; however, a loss may put a permanent end to the former TUF winner's championship hopes.
Dan Hardy and Carlos Condit are also seeking to move up the contender's ladder, only in the welterweight ranks, when they square off this weekend in England. Hardy has already earned one title shot, but he posed little challenge to Georges St. Pierre's throne, despite going the distance with the long reigning champion.
Condit, who held the WEC welterweight title before the promotion scrapped the division, lost his UFC debut in April of last year to top contender Martin Kampmann. The New Mexico native rebounded, though, with wins over the always tough Jake Ellenberger and hot prospect Rory McDonald. If he can overcome Hardy, Condit will probably be in line for a shot at the winner of the upcoming Martin Kampmann/Jake Shields fight (UFC 121 October 23rd).
