Series finale features two fierce fighters aiming to be crowned toughest warrior
Possibly saving its most punishing episode to last, Bodog Fight, the cutting edge mixed martial arts (MMA) showcase, anoints the last member of Team USA in the series finale on Tuesday. Celebrated wrestling champion Chael Sonnen is pitted against "Crazy" Tim Credeur when the episode airs on the Men's Outdoor and Recreation channel, DISH network, Comcast, Cox, Time Warner and online at www.bodogfight.com. BodogFight, the brainchild of digital entertainment mogul Calvin Ayre and a production of the Bodog.com Entertainment Group, has been a hit with viewers and promises a series finale on Halloween that will be a spectacular treat.
"Right from his arrival, Chael made it very clear that he wanted to be the toughest fighter on BodogFight," says Calvin Ayre, Founder of the vast Bodog.com digital entertainment empire and creator of a number of reality television series, including Bodog Salutes the Troops and Calvin Ayre Wild Card Poker, both of which aired on the mainstream channel, Spike TV. "To be the toughest fighter, Chael has to get past Tim Credeur, a tactician in his own right. Fans should expect another thrilling fight."
Sonnen was born into an accomplished sporting family in West Lynn, Oregon. His mother was a seven-time trap-shooting champion and her son had a quick ascent in his two sports. He rose through the ranks of competitive wrestling while simultaneously progressing into MMA. Training with Team Quest, one of the sport's most accomplished fighting groups, Sonnen has perfected his Vale Tudo fighting style under the watchful eyes of Olympic silver-medalist Matt Lindland, four-time UFC champion Randy Couture, and Pride idol Dan Henderson. With all the necessary tools in his arsenal, Sonnen has the skill to become the world's next MMA phenomenon.
