Didier Cuche (SUI) – is the reigning World Cup downhill season champion. At the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan, he was the silver medalist in the Super-G. Cuche has 13 World Cup victories to date. During the 2007 season, Cuche was in top form, winning the downhill season title, and scoring four podium finishes, all second places. Cuche repeated as the World Cup downhill season champion in 2008 with 584 points, five ahead of overall champion Bode Miller. Cuche finished third overall and nearly won the Super-G season title, finishing a single point behind champion Hannes Reichelt. Cuche won the Super-G at the 2009 World Championships in Val d'Isère, France, where he also obtained a silver medal in the Downhill.
Bode Miller (USA) – In 2008 Miller won his second overall World Cup title in four years, after also winning the title in 2005. In 2004 he became only the fifth man to win World Cup races in all five disciplines: slalom, giant slalom, Super-G, downhill, and combined. With 32 World Cup victories, he is the most successful American alpine skier of all time. He is also a four-time World Champion in four different disciplines and has a pair of silver medals from the 2002 Winter Olympics. But, after arguably suffering the worst season of his professional career in 2009, Bode responded by winning a World Cup super-combined event IN 2010. Bode Miller is listed at 9/1 odds to win .

His first World Cup podium came in November 2006 at the Bombardier Winterstart men's downhill in Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada. His first victory was at the Downhill of Kvitfjell in March 2009. He knows the course and is at home where he’ll have fans screaming for the gold. He currently has three World Cup wins in 2009, recently winning the downhill in Val Gardena, Italy.
