Michael Phelps , arguably the best swimmer in the world, is installed at online sports gambling leader Sportsbook.com as the favorite with almost unbeatable -2500 money line odds to win a Gold Medal in the Mens 200m freestyle. The expectations don’t end there. Phelps is -300 odds favorite to win Gold in the 100m butterfly, -5000 odds to win Gold in the 200m butterfly, -800 to win Gold in 200m Mens Individual Medley and -1000 odds to win Gold in the 400m Mens Individual Medley.

Phelps is entered in eight events and could possibly depart Beijing with eight gold medals.
