So what does a missing person named Milo have to do with a online poker website, the owner of a popular poker magazine and celebrities in Hollywood? Apparently nothing to those that attend the biggest game in Tinsel Town.
"Milo is a big boy, I don't really care what happened to him, I just want the game to go on," stated our source.
From what we have been told, the high stakes poker game was organized by a street smart Asian named Mickey (Name changed to protect identity). Mickey is the sort of character you don’t want to mess around with, the mysterious, strong and silent type. Mickey was always dressed to impress and spoke eloquently. Our source speculates that Mickey is involved with the Asian Mafia, although this legend cannot be confirmed.
Mickey enlisted the services of Milo, a Hollywood club kid that had plenty of free time. As part of the agreement, Milo would live at the mansion in the Hollywood Hills and service guests that came over to play. Mickey’s only request of Milo was to stay out of the games.
Several celebrities such as Shannon Elizabeth, James Woods and Marlon Wayans have all played in Mickey's private high stakes game at one time or another. One night, the owner of a prominent poker magazine was wasted and losing big. At one point he was down over $160,000.00 and he kept asking the house for markers to stay in the game. The rest of the players did not mind, they were making a killing off CJ (Name changed to protect identity).
Noticing that CJ was losing big, Milo decided to get in on the action. After a few hands Mickey came to the mansion and saw Milo sitting at the table with the other guests. No one at the table realized that Milo was breaking the house rule by playing in the game so it came as a shock to those in attendance when Mickey bitch slapped Milo.
All of the guests were stunned for a moment and then Mickey said, “The night is over, come back next week.”
Lucky for CJ, he was on a bit of a drunken hot streak and was able to win back almost $70,000.00 before the bitch slap.
The next day, CJ woke up and called Milo to ask what were all the marker receipts doing in his pockets. Milo went on to explain to CJ that he owed the house $88,000.00 and had to cut a check immediately. CJ was in shock and stated he did not remember asking for all these markers but agreed to pay the debt.
A source close to Point-Spreads.com revealed that CJ arranged for the payment of his debts to come out of an poker account set up at UltimateBet.com, the same site has close ties to CJ’s magazine. CJ did not want to cut a check for $88,000.00 out of fear of the transaction being “flagged for money laundering”. Ironically, paying someone back a debt via a online poker account at UltimateBet.com could be construed as money laundering more so than cutting a person a check to pay off a gambling debt.
In doing research about CJ we learned that he is a braggart and likes to boast about getting drunk and partying with his celebrity friends. He once told a online poker veteran, “I went out with so and so and bought 5 bottles of Dom and my bar bill was $5k, I got so drunk, it was awesome, you should have been there with all the celebrities!”
The same online poker veteran told Point-Spreads that, “He is a drunk, has a gambling problem, can’t play poker worth a shit. His dad gives him about $150-$200k per month allowance!”
Apparently, the account was set up in Milo’s name and the account was apparently funded. The only problem is, Milo and the $88,000.00 are missing. What happened to Milo? What happened to the $88,000.00? No one knows and apparently no one cares in Tinsel Town as long as the game goes on.
If anyone has news on Milo, Point-Spreads.com would like to hear from you.
