The tournament format will be a no-limit Texas Hold’em style event without re-buys. The combined fee for entry and buy-in is $8,000. The legal age to play poker in the Bahamas is 18, so this may be the youngest field ever seen on the WPT. Up next is one of the World Series of Poker Circuit Events. This tournament, also a no-limit Texas Hold’em event without re-buys, will be held in Tunica, Miss., on Monday, Jan. 15, at the Grand Casino Resort. The final table will seat on Wednesday, Jan 17. The combined entry and buy-in fee is $5,150. Each player will begin with $10k in chips. Play in a WPT Satellite Tournament Today at Bodog.com! The WPT will roll back into Tunica for the 2007 World Poker Open, a no-limit Texas Hold’em style event without re-buys. The combined entry and buy-in fee is $10.2k to be held at the Gold Strike Casino Resort with a five-day event beginning on Sunday, Jan. 21 and ending with the final table on Thursday, Jan. 25. The following day after the Gold Strike final table, the WPT, Borgata Poker Classic begins. All final table players will have to rush to Atlantic City, N.J. to make the Jan. 26 seating at the famous Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa. This will be another 5-day event ending on Jan. 30, with the final table. |

The World Poker Tour kicks off the New Year in style with the fourth annual PokerStars.com, Caribbean Poker Adventure. The first tables will be seated on Friday, Jan. 5 at the fabulous Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island, Bahamas. The final table will be seated on Wednesday, Jan 10.
