With the US economy in complete meltdown just like his poll numbers in key battle ground states, Arizona Senator John McCain has decided to allow his Vice Presidential barracuda to go on the attack trying to link Democratic Presidential Candidate Barack Obama to sixties radical William Ayers. Part of the reason why is that the election odds at Sportsbook.com show that Illinois Senator Barack Obama is a heavy -450 odds favorite to become the 43rd President of the United States.

In another Republican attempt to peddle fear in order to win a Presidential election, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin accused Obama of "palling around with terrorists who would target their own country."

William Ayers was a founder of the violent Vietnam-era group the Weather Underground. Obama and Ayers live in the same Chicago neighborhood and have served together on community boards. When asked to comment about his association with William Ayers, Obama stated, "The notion that somehow he has been involved in my campaign, that he is an adviser of mine, that he — I've palled around with a terrorist, all these statements are made simply to try to score cheap political points."

The faltering economy has been dominating political discussions, hurting McCain's chance at becoming the next Commander in Cheif forcing the desperate candidate to start slinging mud. The election odds on underdog Republican Presidential Candidate John McCain are +275 odds to become the next President of the United States.

"Those attacks don't hurt Barack Obama or me. They hurt you," stated Democratic VP Candidate Joe Biden. "Every single false charge and baseless accusation is an attempt to get you to stop paying attention to what's going on in this country. Beyond the attacks, what is John McCain really offering?"

The Obama Campaign was expecting the McCain Campaign of resorting to these sort of attacks and decided to release a documentary detailing John McCain's significant role in helping to deregulate the banking industry causing the Savings & Loan Scandals of the late 80's and early 90's which ultimately cost US taxpayers $120 Billion.  Point-Spreads.com recommends checking out the documentary at KeatingEconomics.com.

Meanwhile, several prominent media conservatives have stated that the inexperienced and naïve Sarah Palin is not qualified to become Vice President of the United States.  Columnist Kathleen Parker suggested that the barracuda should step down for the good of the GOP and David Brooks stated Palin "has not been engaged in national issues, does not have a repertoire of historic patterns and, like President Bush, she seems to compensate for her lack of experience with brashness and excessive decisiveness."

Sportsbook.com has posted the following election odds on the 2008 Presidential Race:

Barack Obama: -450

John McCain: +275

Any other candidate: +3000
