A charismatic Mitt Romney grew up in Detroit suburb. He does not drink, smoke or swear and is a practicing Mormon that hopes to become the Republican Party's 2008 Presidential candidate. BetUS.com has posted betting odds on Romney at +350 (Bet $100 to win $350) to win the Republican Presidential Nomination.
Mitt Romney's Presidential campaign has already been endorsed by Orrin Hatch, Utah's Senator and a fellow conservative Republican. His grandfather had 5 wives and lived in Utah as a practicing Mormon.
"Governor Romney has the leadership qualities we need to bring real change to Washington," said Senator Hatch.
Mitt has already publicly come out against Gay Marriage and it would be safe to assume Romney is probably against internet gambling. He refers to himself as a "Social Conservative" and already has the backing of both Senators from Utah, a anti-gambling state.
Harvard Law School and Harvard MBA graduate, Romney admits he did not have pre-martial sex with his wife Ann, who suffered from depression and used both western and eastern medicine to cure her MS symptoms.
"It's a mess in Washington," stated Mitt Romney in his interview on Sunday night's 60 Minutes. "The administration made mistakes and we are paying for those mistakes" saying the Bush administration was "not prepared" to deal with the post war challenges in Iraq.
When asked about the new Iraqi plan adopted by the current President George W. Bush, Romney said, "We will know in a matter of months if it is working or not."
Romney's father was a presidential hopeful in 1968 and lost the Republican Party Nomination that year to Richard Nixon. Romney and his wife Ann have 5 sons, it could be a political dynasty in the making. All very attractive, married and/or engaged. A seemingly perfect family.
"I won't raise taxes!" he told Mike Wallace of 60 Minutes, but he has flip flopped before. While he personally opposes abortion, originally Romney ran for governor of Massachusetts as a pro choice candidate. After the election, Mitt changed his mind and now feels each state should get to decide if they want to ban a women's right to chose.
