Former New York City mayor and Republican Presidential Candidate Rudolph Giuliani reported that he has nearly $11 million in cash available for the presidential primaries.
Rudy Giuliani was the first of the top presidential candidates to file his financial information with the Federal Election Commission. Reports are due by midnight Sunday.
The Giuliani campaign reported only 28,300 individual donors during the first three months of the year trailing Mitt Romney with 33,000 donors and Arizona Senator John McCain with 40,000 donors. Despite the smaller donor base, Sportbet.com has Giuliani at +300 and the favorite out of all Republicans to become the President of the United States in 2008.
Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney has reported raising nearly $21 million during the first quarter of the year, followed by Giuliani with $14.8 million and McCain with $12.5 million. The top six presidential fundraisers so far have raised about $127 million, or four times more than was raised for the same period in 2003.
