When the Subway Fresh Fit 500 gets underway tonight, there will only be a handful of drivers favored to win the race. Kevin Harvick will probably not be among those, however, the 33 year old might make a good dark horse wager as he has won two races at Phoenix International Raceway in 12 outings at the track. Kevin Harvick's Odds to Win the Subway Fresh Fit 500 at Sportsbook.com are currently listed at +4000 on the moneyline. Harvick is not off to a great start this year, presently sitting two spots out of the Chase at 14th in the standings with 796 points, but it has not been all bad for the California native. He does have two top five finishes, including a second place finish at the rain shortened Daytona 500. His biggest trouble has been poor qualifying times (average start 18.4), as it was last night when he recorded a time worthy of a 33rd place start for this evening's 8:00pm ET race. Two weeks ago Harvick, who drives the 29 Shell/Pennzoil Chevy for Richard Childress Racing, had a decent start (17) at the Texas Motor Speedway but came in a distant 27th. His average finish over the last three races has been a poor 22.6. Harvick, whose last win came in February of 2007 at Daytona, could reverse his recent trend with quality a finish at Phoenix tonight. He has raced at the facility in 12 cup events and, as stated, recorded two victories. He also has another top five finish there and has been in the top 10 on six occasions. In last year's April race he started 17th and placed 19th, but had a stronger showing in November, starting 19th and finishing in seventh.
