NASCAR Coke Zero 400 Betting Odds: The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series is in Daytona Beach, Florida this weekend for the Fourth of July running of the Coke Zero 400. The event will take place Saturday at 7:30pm ET and will be broadcast live on TNT. Jeff Gordon is having another spectacular season for Hendrick Motorsports, carrying the points lead for a good majority of the early season. However, in recent weeks he has been unable to catch the red hot Tony Stewart in the standings. He, nonetheless, remains a close second to the former Joe Gibbs racer with a total of 2455 points, a tally 69 ticks short of the top spot.

Gordon edged a little bit closer to Stewart last week, finishing second at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon. The quality conclusion was the California native's fourth straight top ten showing and his second second place finish in the last three weeks. Gordon has driven the No. 24 DuPont Chevrolet to an average finish of 8.6 over the last five races. Through the first 17 races of the season, the man once known as the "Rainbow Warrior", has one win and nine top five results. 

Gordon is no stranger to Daytona International Speedway as he has raced at the track 33 times in his legendary career. The 37 year old driver, who now lives in Charlotte, N.C., has six wins, 11 top fives, and 17 top tens at Daytona. He had two miserable showings at the venue last season (39th and 30th), but finished 13th at the Daytona 500 in February.

For his career, Gordon has produced 82 wins and 256 top fives finishes in 562 races.
