Coke Zero 400 Betting Odds: Daytona International Speedway will host its second and final NASCAR Sprint Cup event of the season this Saturday, July 4th. The Coke Zero 400 will take place under the lights at the legendary track as things are set to go green at 7:30pm ET (TNT). Bodog.com has installed former champion and current points leader Tony Stewart as a 6 to 1 favorite in their Tony Stewart NASCAR Coke Zero 400 Betting Odds. The hits just keep on coming for Tony Stewart in his inaugural season as an owner/driver. Last week the Indiana native finished in the top five for the fourth time in the last five races as he drove his No. 14 Chevy to a fifth place finish in the Lenox Industrial Tools 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The victory preserved his points lead over Jeff Gordon, who came in second to 19 year old winner Joey Logano. Stewart, who has a total of 2455 points, is just 69 points ahead of the four time cup champion Gordon in the points standings. Stewart should continue his hot streak this weekend as he has experienced great success at Daytona International in the past. He finished eighth at this year's Daytona 500, following up a third place run in the event last year. Stewart did not fare as well in the Coke Zero 400 last July, taking 20th after a start from the 17th position. In 21 career races at the track, the 38 year old has garnered two wins, six top fives, and 11 top tens. Stewart has been unbelieveable in his consistency this year, producing one win, nine top fives and thirteen top tens through the first 17 races of the season. But his run over the last eight races has been remarkable. Stewart has finished outside the top five just twice in that span (19th at the Coca-Cola 600 and 7th at the LifeLock 400) while producing an average finish of 5.1 in his last five outings. The Columbus, Indiana resident has 34 wins in 373 races and he has cracked the top five 138 times. Qualifying for the NASCAR Coke Zero 400 will take place today, July 3rd at 4:00pm ET. Odds are subject to change after the field has been set.Bodog.com Tony Stewart NASCAR Coke Zero 400 Betting Odds: To Win 6/1 To Three 7/4 (Stewart has seven top three finishes this season) Bodog.com Coke Zero 400 Betting Odds: Tony Stewart 6/1 |
