With just 4 races remaining in the Chase for the Cup, the Nextel Cup series heads south for the Bass Pro Shops 500 at the Atlanta Motor Speedway on Saturday. In the spring race, Kasey Kahne led the field to victory. Last year, Carl Edwards won both events at this fast 1.5 mile track.
Another driver who knows his way around this track is Jeff Gordon. Gordon has the most wins here among all active drivers with four. Gordon needs a strong outing this weekend to improve on his current ninth position to have any chance at the title. The same goes for Kahne who sits in eighth.
