Everton will try and overcome a 2-1 deficit against Chelsea as they host the Blues on Wednesday in the second leg of the League Cup semifinals on Wednesday. Wednesday’s game for Everton has taken on added importance since the game is a sellout and fans want the team to go to the Final. The key for Everton will bet to not give up an early goal. The key players for Everton could be in the midfield as Mikel Arteta will need to make plays and Tim Cahill will need to score.
The other semifinal is between Arsenal and Tottenham, with the first leg ending in a 1-1 draw.
