A total of 16 matches will be played this weekend in the FA Cup as teams look to move into the quarterfinals. Nine of 20 Premier League clubs were knocked out of the FA Cup in the third round. The 11 remaining teams look to advance led by league powerhouse Manchester United.

Liverpool looks like a sure bet to advance as they host non-league side Havant & Waterlooville. There are three other matches involving two Premier League teams so there won’t be any more than eight Premier League teams advancing. Arsenal hosts Newcastle, and defending champion Chelsea is at Wigan on Saturday. Sunday it is Tottenham at Manchester United. The Spurs have not beaten United since 2001 but come into the match very confident after routing Arsenal 5-1 on Tuesday to reach next month's League Cup final. Tottenham lost only 1-0 to United in Premier League action in August. United has won the FA Cup four times since 1991 and will be fielding a strong team on Sunday. "We've got a good squad of players and I think we're improving in certain aspects of our play," United manager Alex Ferguson said.
Saturday’s match will be Kevin Keegan's first FA Cup game as Newcastle manager in 11 years. Newcastle did not play well in getting a scoreless draw against Bolton last weekend. "Had we won by three or four it would have masked over where we really are at the moment," Keegan said. "We are a small squad but we are a quality squad. We need a few players in and a few players back." Arsenal is heavily favored to get past Newcastle.
Chelsea will look to have success in two Cups this week. They beat Everton 1-0 Wednesday to reach the League Cup final and shouldn’t have too much trouble against a weak Wigan team. Chelsea is without Didier Drogba, Salomon Kalou and John Obi Mikel because of the African Cup, while John Terry, Frank Lampard and Andriy Shevchenko are all injured. It shouldn’t matter though against Wigan. "Everybody needs to respect what Chelsea has done in the last three months," Chelsea manager Avram Grant said. "With all the problems, we are four points from first place in the league, we are in the next round of the Champions League and we are in the Carling (League) Cup final.
