The last chance for Arsenal to save their season is on Sunday when they travel to Old Trafford to face Premier League leaders Manchester United, who are six points ahead of the Gunners. Arsenal still believes that anything can happen in the last few weeks. "It is a very big game. Anything can happen, you never know," manager Arsene Wenger said. "It is important to win the next five games. If we do that, then why not?"

Kolo Toure believes that Arsenal will bounce back on Sunday against United. Toure was ruled to have felled Liverpool substitute Ryan Babel late in the Champions League quarterfinal game and Arsenal ended up losing 4-2 and 5-3 on aggregate. It was thought that the Champions League was Arsenal’s best chance at a trophy but they now have to turn their attention to Manchester United on Sunday. "When you lose a game like this [at Anfield], it is difficult to talk about it right away," Toure said, "We will get together at the training ground and talk about it. Sunday's game against Manchester United is going to be really important for us now. It will be another tight game and we hope to win it. We know that The Champions League is over and now we have to look at The Premier League.”
Arsenal was all set to advance to the Champions League semifinals after tying the game against Liverpool 2-2 but Toure was penalized and Liverpool scored. Liverpool added a late goal in penalty time for the 4-2 margin. "The referee gave the foul against me, but I just moved away from him and I think Cesc caught his hand maybe, which was outside the area anyway.” Toure said, “But that is the game and the referee has given the penalty. What can you do? We are all really disappointed. We just need to think about The Premier League now and see how far we can go in that."
