The 2008 UEFA European Football Championship, or Euro 2008, soccer tournament begins Saturday June 7, 2008 in Austria and Switzerland. The Euro 2008 consists of 14 teams that were determined through qualifying while the two host teams, Austria and Switzerland, are automatically invited. A total of 16 teams will compete.
